Cyclist Gets Hit by Car

by Administrator 29. July 2009 09:57

This morning, a bicyclist was hit by a car on Mount Vernon Rd at East Post Rd. The driver apparently stopped at a light on East Post and was making a left turn onto Mount Vernon when he hit the cyclist.

The driver said he didn't see the cyclist. Unfortunately, this happens way too often. Drivers don't pay attention to people on smaller vehicles like motorcycles or bicycles. This causes accidents and sometimes leads to the death of the rider. Fortunately, in this case the rider survived with only minor injuries.

If you've been hit by a driver who wasn't paying attention, you deserve compensation for your injuries and pain and suffering. Contact Pete Leehey, the Cedar Rapids negligent driver lawyer, at 877-209-9452.
