Three men broke into a home, and one of them fired a gun inside the residence Tuesday. The three allegedly attacked two people in the home and left with some of the victim's property. 

According to police reports, the three men were dressed in black and had covered their faces. At the time the police report was released, the police had not arrested any suspects.

A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was trapped between a farm wagaon and pickup truck Wednesday. Jordyn Weppler of Central City was unhooking the wagon from the truck when the wagon suddenly lurched forward and pinned her. 

People who witnessed the accident helped free Weppler, and medical officials later took her to a nearby hospital. Although police officials said they did not know the cause of the accident, it could have been the result of a product defect.

On Thursday afternoon, a collision involving an SUV and a bicycle occurred at Bever Ave and 14th St. Around 5pm, a 10 year old boy way riding his bicycle across Bever when he struck the side of the SUV and was run over by it.

The boy was first transported to St Luke's Hospital, then transferred to the University of Iow Hospitals by medical helicopter. The boy was listed in critical condition on Friday morning.
