A three-year-old child was suffered burns from hot water earlier this month. According to police reports, the child was burned when she crawled into a sink that was full of hot water.

When the mother discovered the child, she took the child out of the sink and carried her into a cold shower. The child was then taken to a nearby medical center for further treatment.

Three people were injured in a Cedar Rapids plane accident Saturday. According to police reports, the aircraft was attempting to land near Eastern Iowa Airport. 

The airplane, however, crashed near the airport. When medical officials arrived, they took the pilot and two passngers to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A man was injured in a Cedar Rapids car accident Tuesday. According to police reports, the vehicle apparently hit a curve and rolled over. 

When medical officials arrived to the scene, the car was resting on its top. The man was then treated for injuries.

A teenager was seriously injured in a car accident last week. According to police reports, the girl's car was hit on the side by a truck on Highway 151.
