A 20-year-old woman from Cedar Rapids was seriously injured Saturday when the car that she was riding in flipped over, and she was ejected.

The car was driven by a 20-year-old man, and two other young people were also riding in the car. At approximately 10:30 p.m., the car rolled over after the driver sped through a stop sign and hit a curb. The woman was the only passenger to be ejected from the vehicle. No one else in the car was injured.

The woman is currently recovering from a broken pelvis. The man driving the car was charged with reckless driving.
