Man injured in a hunting accident

A man was injured in a hunting accident this week. According to police reports, the man was hit with shotgun pellets in the face and chest.

The man who fired the gun accidentally discharged it when he was closing the action on his double-barrel shotgun. The injured man was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
