Apple cider recalled in many states

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has advised consumers to not drink Pepin Heights Orchard brand apple cider after it was found that the it might be contaminated with the mold, patulin.

The cider was sold in gallon and half-gallon jugs and was distributed in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, Texas and Florida. The company is working with the Department to find the source of the mold. No illnesses have been reported at this time, but the company is asking that everyone discard of the product.
