Police and fire departments will not charge accident fee

by Administrator 23. December 2009 14:26

Cedar Rapids police and fire officials will not attempt to recover a fee from drivers at fault in traffic accidents. According to an Associated Press story, the fee would have gone toward recovering police and fire expenses for traffic accidents.

The fees were going to be around $500. However, both departments chose to drop the idea.

If you or anyone you know has been involved in a car accident, contact the Cedar Rapids car accident attorney Pete Leehey at 319-294-4424.
