Two construction workers die after fall from radio tower

by Administrator 13. April 2011 11:23

Two construction workers in Indiana were killed this morning in a construction accident after they fell from a radio tower that they were working on.

The radio tower was being built near the city of Colburn. It was three hundred feet high at the time of the accident, although investigators do not know how high the workers were when they fell. The workers fell shortly before 9 a.m., and both died immediately.

It is not clear why the workers fell from the tower, and investigations into the accident are still under way. Autopsies will also be performed on the workers to determine the exact cause of their deaths.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with the friends and families of the two victims of this accident as they face this difficult time.
